Take one cup of  potey wali sawayyan(vermicelli) and roast it in about one tablespoon of ghee until it turns golden brown. In another pan, add two cups of water and three-fourths cup of sugar, and bring it to a boil. Add this syrup to the roasted vermicelli. Now, cook it on medium heat without covering it. In the end, let it simmer for fifteen minutes. The sweet vermicelli (Potey Wali Suwayyan) is ready.

کپ سویاں لیں اور تقریبا 1 کھانے کا چمچ گھی میں بھون لیں یہاں تک کے گولڈن برائون ہو جائیں ۔ دوسرے پین میں 2 کپ پانی میں 3/4 کپ چینی ڈال کر ایک اُبال دلوائیں ۔ اس کو  بھونی ہوئی سویوں میں شامل کر دیں ۔ اب اس کو درمیانی آنچ پر ڈھکن دیئے بغیر پکنے دیں ۔ پھر آکر میں 15 منٹ دم دیں ۔ پوٹے والی سویاں تیار ہیں ۔
